Animalcule

Area15, Las Vegas

The hidden universe within us.

Inspired by the discovery of microscopic life, Animalcule creates a living ecosystem of light, sound and motion. Laser-drawn organisms drift through luminous landscapes while spatial audio surrounds you in a world that feels both futuristic and ancient.

Animalcule is a laser, sound and lighting experience now running at AREA15 in Las Vegas.

Chroma Window

A Synaestype laser installation at the Baltimore War Memorial.

Originally conceived for the Baltimore War Memorial's centennial in 2025, the piece sends lasers up from the center of the assembly room and across its walls and ceiling.

Chroma Window fuses analog, digital and laser technologies to set up a dialogue between the building's history and the present. It transforms the landmark into a sanctuary of light and asks visitors to reflect, with fresh eyes, on the legacies and sacrifices of Baltimore's fallen.

The work uses Synaestype, a technique in which sound waves physically conduct the laser's path. Text evolves in response to a shifting tonal landscape, so sound becomes visible architecture: you hear what you see, and you see what you hear.

The Green Eye

A living being animated by sound waves.

Like a language from a distant alien civilization, The Green Eye conjures meaning through laser light and messages through sound.
